Starseed is a headpiece inspired by the Crown Chakra.  

In this piece, the plastic is melted and fused together to create three-dimensional forms and flowers. Some of these flowers have seed beads added to accentuate the form and add color. The etched and anodized aluminum is formed into flower like designs similar to the spice star anise. These elements are then highlighted with alcohol inks to bring out the texture in the etching and give a shimmer like quality to the metal.  

There are three amethyst stones on the inside of the piece closest to the wearer.  

All gemstones are thought to have many different magical and healing properties associated with them. Here, amethyst is added to help the wearer gain clarity and connect with the higher realms.
