Finding my way back

Stepping away from the studio for many years and eventually finding my way back changed my work and the way I think about healing. I found myself thinking more about resilience, in the synchronicities that sometimes show up when we’re paying attention, and in what creative practice can give us during difficult or changing times. These ideas have become part of my work, and they’re part of what I want to explore with you in this Masterclass.

Why I'm sharing this now

I strongly believe the world needs more joy, playfulness and healing than ever before.  There are many ways to bring an abundance of all of those things into our lives, and the way I can personally help people do that is through wearable art.  I have always loved the way big, bold pieces felt on my body.  The weight and comfort they provided.  I love finding (and making) one-of-a-kind pieces that no one else has.  Ones that grab people's attention and start interesting conversations.  I love picking out my favorite colors and crystals to wear based on my mood for the day.  Feeling them bounce around in my hair or against my skin brings a lighthearted quality to my day.  Some days, it can also make me feel more present and grounded.  My work is meant to help make the person wearing it feel beautiful, strong, bold, elegant, empowered and amazing.  When people feel amazing, they are happier and that joy radiates to others around them.   I believe more joy in the world, will also bring more healing to everyone and to the planet.
